Thursday Thunks 5-28-09

Thursday Thunks....we are picking up where we left off last week, which explains why we are starting with #21 instead of #1.

21. How many states have you been in? 28 some have stayed in others just passed through.


22. If a sexist Man is called a pig, what is a sexist Woman called? huh, never really thought about it!


23. You see the one person who you absolutely despise. If you were guarentee'd that he/she couldn't say or do anything back to you.... What would you do?? just turn away and go on about my business.


24. How many states are to the right of you? And don’t give us a map to look at. 2


25. You can go anywhere in the world for free. Where are you? The Caribbean!


26. HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP? idk can you wave a little bit - oh waving you have 4 fingers and a thumb up LOL!


27. Are you a boxing fan? Do you think there will be a rematch of the Hatton-Pacquiao fight? No boxing since I was little - I have no clue who those ppl are.


28. What is the most disgusting thing you have ever eaten? hmmm dirt? play-doh? squid?


29. Is it cloudy right now? Yes, unfortunately :(


30. What is your dream job? Get paid to rubber stamp.


31. Someone gives you a $500 gift card to WalMart or Target. What are you going to buy? I would say clothes but lately haven't been able to find things at those stores so I imagine I would stock up on Shampoo's and hair stuff and add a game or two to my Wii so I can do more with it. Probably some ink for my printer too!


32. When you were little, what did you want to be "when you grow up"? And, how much different is your occupation now from where you thought it would be when you were younger?

Always wanted to be a teacher, didn't like math at all and now I am an Admin Assitant who keeps the company's books....go figure!


33. what was your favorite toy as a child? I don't really recall many toys except a Cabbage patch doll my Granny got me and I know I loved (still do) board games, especially scrabble.


34. How do you think these things up?? I don't think then the Thursday Thunks do LOL!


35. Why do you think so many "fake" veterans get away with pretending? Why don't people question them more (especially the media who eats up their stories?)
idk why they get away with it, credit should be given where due and most Veterans don't want praise they are doing what they felt called to do.


36. What is the last place you had a good cry and why? at home, I just feel like WHY... most of the time anymore.


37. What do you mean? there are a thousand ways to finish Why...I often feel like they are all crashing in on me lately.


38. Which Sesame Street Character do you relate with the most and why?
Cookie Monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me loves COOKIES!


39. What song one would you listen to over and over if you absolutely had to? gosh, only one? Music is on as ackground noise all the time...I have no clue but I know it would NOT be the stooopid Barney song!


40. Did you ever make what you believed at the time to be a horrible mistake - that in hindsight turned out to lead you on the best path in your life? no can't really say that I have.


41. If you could change one thing on your person, what would it be? my abdomen


42. What’s your favorite show to watch on television nowadays? The Unit and Survivor :)

Thursday Thunks May 21st

Time again for the thursday thunk...I am headed out to Anna's now so see y'all later!

1. Have you seen the new Star Trek movie, and if so what did you think?
No I haven't seen it, not really into Star trek.
2. Which popular sitcom character (past or present) are you most like?
I have n o clue LOL...a bumbling idiot at times so perhaps Fred Flinstone LOL!
3. What kind of dreams do you have?
lately not good ones - I wake up wondering what is going why am I dreaming of losing someone or something bad happening.
4. Bugger it. Go get a tattoo and come back. Right, now answer me this, what ees eet?
Probably my daughters name with some ivy around it on my shoulder, perhaps a small butterfly or something with it.
5. Do you think you could be on American Idol with the singing voice you have now without any voice training?
ummm HELL NO!
6. How much wood, would a woodchuck chuck? If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
he'd chuck till his teeth hurt I suppose :)
7. If you were a tree in a Dr. Seuss book, what would you look like?
Flopsy arms that bend every which way with bright green tops! happy trees!

hmmm idk about that!
10. What the worst injury you've ever had?
herniated disk :( VERY VERY Painful!

Bread Pudding

Gosh I love them both! I would choose beach though since it is usually warm!
13. What movie have you seen that still make you cry?
I don't like to watch movies that make you cry but I admit that Bambi gets to me!

yep!

usually 2 loads a week

I really like the movie Natty Gahn and also Cars

yeah but only 1 or 2 days a week not sitting here for hours on end!
18. If there was a war of the gummies, would you be on the gummi bear side or the gummi worm side?
gummi bears of course! I would be the red one too!
19. What's your favorite comic strip?
I don't read comics anymore cause my 2 favorites are no longer there. I love Nancy and Calvin & Hobbes!

I am in a cool house with a view of the beach and surrounded by stamping stuff, music playing and my friends playing with me!

Thursday's Thunk

I came across a new blog while hopping on a current blog today LOL! It is called Thursday Thunks. This last week they had some questions to answer so I thought I would participate and then hopefully make it back to Thunk again this week :)

1. You are at the store when suddenly 2 men walk in with guns and rob the place. Are you the hero, quiet & follow the rules type, or try to make a run for it? I would probably be the quiet and follow the rules while beeping 911 on my cell phone if I could.

2. Do you like Twizzlers? Yep, sure do!

3. Are you a YouTube watcher? occasionally - mostly only if someone links me I don't YouTube on my own LOL!

4. When a auto glass store calls you and asks if you have a chip or crack in your windshield, what do you tell them? hold phone away from my mouth and say: Honeyyyyyyyy telephone for you!

5. What is the age difference between you and your father? 24 years

6. Have you ever tried to find the end of a rainbow? yes I am still looking for it - aren't you?

7. Camping - recreational vehicle or tent? I like both but we have a TT so mostly that I guess.

8. Have you ever had to call 9-1-1? Unfortunately yes more than once :(

9. Who is your favorite blog in the Thursday Thunk bloggers to visit? idk first timer here!

10. How long do you think you could live locked in your house on the food that you have on hand right now? Oh probably awhile now I just picked some things up and we have a lot in the freezer from buying Angel Food and GFFA the last couple months as well as the game dh took in. We'd have lots of meat but I would want fresh fruits and stuff after a couple weeks I would think!

11. Pepper - shaker or grinder? ehhh not so keen on pepper actually

12. What state (or country if you are not in the US) is 2 states west of you? IL

13. What color do you believe you look best in? Blue (it brings out my eyes even more!)

The countdown is running...Only 9 days until I will be at Anna's!

We have lots planned of course but more important is just being there and able to actually give each other a hug and hang out!

We are going to Chicago one day for a Harry Potter display an I think that is going to be super cool! I love Harry Potter and seeing some of the actual props and costumes is exciting!
